15th World Conference on Sport for All - Lima

The International Olympic Committee’s 15th World Conference on Sport for All will take place in Lima, Peru, from 24 to 27 April 2013.

The Conference will be hosted by the Miraflores Municipal Government, Peruvian Institute of Sport and organised by the Peruvian Olympic Committee, in collaboration with SportAccord.

The World Conference on Sport for All has, since its formation, been dedicated to promoting broad dissemination of the sport for all philosophy, globally. It pursues the promotion of health, fitness and well-being, and aims at encouraging more people of all ages and abilities to participate in sports activities and experience the Olympic values.

 “The Organizing Committee of the 15th World Conference on Sport for All  wish to leave as a legacy, the roadmap for a sustainable promotion of physical activity and the development of a plan for sports for all in our country, which could then be applied to other emerging countries.”
