117th IOC Session in Singapore - Information for broadcasters
The 117th Session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will convene from 6 to 9 July 2005 in Singapore. All meetings will take place at the Raffles City Convention Centre.
The full programme, as well as media information on accreditation, accommodation, media access and working facilities, will follow in due course.
On 6 July, the Session will elect the host city of the Games of the XXX Olympiad in 2012 out of the five Candidate Cities: Paris (FRA), New York (USA), Moscow (RUS), London (GBR) and Madrid (ESP)1.
On that day, each Candidate City will be given the opportunity to make a presentation in front of the Session. All proceedings, including the announcement ceremony will be filmed by the IOC and made available through a live feed to broadcasters.
Broadcasters intending to cover the event in Singapore are requested to send their technical requirements to the IOC by 28 February 2005. All requests on the available space, editing and recording facilities, live positions, etc. should be addressed directly to:
