113th IOC Session

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) meets every year at its Session to define the main direction of the Olympic Movement. Last July, the Session in Moscow saw the elections of the city of Beijing to organise the Games of the XXIX Olympiad in 2008, and of the 8th IOC President, Jacques Rogge. This year, the 113th Session was, among other things, updated on the progress of the Athens and Turin Games.

The 113th IOC Session met in Salt Lake City from 4 to 6 February 2002, just before the XIX Olympic Winter Games (8-24 February).
