Korean Corner - “When Tigers Smoked Pipes”

“Once upon a time,” or, as Koreans say, “When tigers smoked pipes”… Make yourself comfortable in Korean Corner, where you can read and listen to stories, try out Korean board games and engage in DIY design activities using the PyeongChang Games emblems.

“Binari” show by the MAC THEATRE Company

Based in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea, the Mac Theatre Company sets out to keep alive and popularise the ancestral artistic heritage of Korea. Based on the fourth act of the traditional mask dance, Dongnae yaryu, listed as an Important Intangible Cultural Property of Korea, this show draws on the world of Korean folklore, combining sacred and profane songs, symbolic objects, masks and popular dances!
