11 OCTOBER - 15 OCTOBER 2020

Olympic Week – Digital Edition

This year, you won’t need to go to the Museum to take part in Olympic Week. Simply check out our social media and make use of the content we’ll be offering throughout the week. But that doesn’t mean sitting at home either: many of the challenges will get you up and moving, and learning new things!

100 per cent free, 100 per cent digital

The programme for this digital edition will give you the chance to find out more about topical social issues, such as inclusion and diversity, gender equality, health in sport and even sports documentation, seen through the history of the Olympic Games and the Museum’s collections, but also through the stories of people involved in sport who have tried to do their bit to change the world.

From 11 to 15 October 2020, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

This will also be a chance to learn how to take sports photos, even with your phone, in the company of a sports photographer and a YouTuber to create a crack team!

Olympic Week’s traditional sports club partners will also be on hand, with a range of challenges for you to attempt at home and learn the basics of their sports.

Check out the Olympic Week Facebook page and experience our programme live.
