Get Active!

(temporary closure of the exhibition from 13 to 18 April inclusive and 10, 11, 12 March)

Very often, visiting a museum means no touching, no running, no this and no that. But that’s certainly not true of The Olympic Museum’s summer exhibition!

Quite the reverse in fact, as the “Get active!” exhibition is an invitation to do physical activities in a museum - yes, you did read that correctly!

In the Galerie on the top floor, which has the best view of the Alps and the lake, the various rooms of a house have been recreated to show that, even at home, using what you have to hand, you can do exercise!

And that’s exactly what Tom is doing...

… playing table tennis in the kitchen with a frying pan and an egg…
… doing musical trampoline on his bed…
… testing his balance on bales of washing in the laundry room…
… or crossing the laundry room without ringing the bells…

And, who knows, you might find you have a talent for one of these activities! Or enjoy the benefits of getting your mind active as well as your body!

So come and have a go and have fun, with your family or friends; and even better, it’s free of charge!
