Athletic Career:

Patrick was the former French fencing champion (Team – Foil) in 1967 and later transitioned into officiating. He was an international fencing referee (Foil Epee Sabre) and was selected by the FIE for three editions of the Olympic Games.

He was also the technical delegate for refereeing in Seoul 1988.
