We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 9th IOC International Athletes’ Forum (Forum).

The Forum has three main objectives, all centred around Athletes’ Commissions. We would like you to leave the Forum feeling “empowered, excited and united”. Empowered to run your ACs better and represent athletes; excited about the powerful and influential roles that athlete representatives play, and united through ACs growing in strength and continuing to be the well-respected voice of athletes within the sports movement. Our ambition following the three days is to further equip you with skills, to hear your thoughts, and to share ideas, so you return feeling motivated and energised to start working towards your goals. Together we can do this.

Please see below for some practical tips to help you prepare for the event. Please make sure you read these before you pack!

The IOC Athletes’ Commission looks forward to welcoming you to Lausanne!

About Lausanne

Lausanne is a city on Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland. It is home to the International Olympic Committee headquarters, as well as The Olympic Museum and lakeshore Olympic Park. Away from the lake, the hilly old city has medieval, shop-lined streets and a 12th-century Gothic cathedral with an ornate facade. The 19th-century Palais de Rumine houses fine art and science museums.
