Six things you cannot miss in the Youth Olympic Villages!

Athlete365 will help bring the Youth Olympic Villages to life in Lausanne and St Moritz, and now that you’re a part of the ultimate athlete community, you can take advantage of our exclusive offerings. When you get some downtime from your competitions, there are plenty of fun activities to participate in across the site that can give you vital knowledge for your future career, and also land you some free goodies!

Chat with Champions

These one-hour evening sessions give you a chance to hear from Olympic and world champions as they discuss their careers and share pearls of wisdom with you. Don’t miss the opportunity to ask about their experiences and learn from these legends of winter sport!

Health for Performance

This activity is all about learning how to boost your performance and prevent injuries, with experts on hand to analyse your movements and offer advice that could take you to the next level. You can create a 3D avatar of yourself, analyse your squat technique, and even participate in a ski jumping video game – then compare your scores with your team-mates and the Athlete Role Models! Please note that this activity is available only in the Lausanne Youth Olympic Village.

Athlete365 Awareness Zone

The Athlete365 Awareness Zone will offer a whole heap of different activities throughout the YOG, all aimed at helping you stay healthy, better understand your rights and responsibilities in your sporting career and beyond, and raise your awareness of some of the challenges you’re likely to face as an elite athlete. Try out these activities and you might end up with some free Athlete365 merch!

By taking part in all the activities that are on offer around the Youth Olympic Village, you also have the chance to join the interactive PinQuest game. All you have to do is find the virtual pins that are hidden in different areas of the Village and then answer some simple questions. You can then claim a real life pin from the Yodli Café!

IF Focus Days

During the YOG, each sport will be offering its athletes the chance to take part in special Focus Days that can help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to make it to the top. These days could include meeting with elite-level athletes or working on specific skills within your sport. Either way, it’s another chance for you to learn something that could give you an edge in a future event!

Olympic Channel Daily Show

In addition to its live coverage around the venues, the Olympic Channel will be broadcasting a live Daily Show right in the heart of the Lausanne Youth Olympic Village. Airing at 6.30 p.m. on each competition day, you can expect the latest medal news, highlights and big-name guests – and if you do something special you might even be invited on yourself!
