We take a pictorial look at what some well-known Olympians from the past are now doing in their careers. This month, we focus on high jump innovator Dick Fosbury
During his engineering career, Fosbury served as city engineer for the cities of Ketchum and Sun Valley in Idaho and oversaw the design and construction of the Wood River Trails and Sun Valley Trails for the Blaine County Recreation District
Now retired, Fosbury enjoys working on his family’s 20-acre farm just south of Bellevue, Idaho, and continues to coach kids at high jump clinics and camps across the US, as well as speaking to groups and corporations about innovation
To help you keep pushing the bar to personal excellence when the competition days come to an end, the IOC created the Athlete Career Programme. Whether it is going back to school, building up your life skills or help in finding a job the IOC Athlete Career Programme, delivered in cooperation with The Adecco Group, is here to lend a helping hand.
