A second period penalty shot goal by Manu Honkanen sparked a rally that carried Finland to a 4-3 victory over Russia in Men's Ice Hockey at the Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games. The Finns trailed by two when Honkanen beat goalkeeper Maxim Tretyak at 5:04 of the second period.
