Like the bobsleighs, the one-man luges have also undergone extraordinary technical development.
The material, the aerodynamic design, and even the personal equipment of the competitors, evolve continuously.
The examples shown here - a luge from the 1964 Innsbruck Games and a luge used in 1992 in Albertville - underline the continuous progress of high-speed sport.
