The torches, medals and sports equipment which have marked the Winter Games
BOBSLEIGH: SWISS CREW
This four-man bobsleigh won the bronze medal at the Sarajevo Olympics of 1984.
Its Swiss crew made up of the driver Silvio Giobellina, Heinz Stettler, Urs Salzmann and Rico Freiermuth.
Sixty years earlier, at the first Winter Olympics in Chamonix in 1924, the winning machine was also crewed by four Swiss, all coming from the same village: Eduard Scherrer, Alfred Neveu, and Heinrich and Alfred Schläppi.
