The torches, medals and sports equipment which have marked the Summer Games
New materials and their application in sports equipment have improved performances.
Whenever possible, the Museum tries to show how sports equipment has evolved since the Olympic Games began.
Here we have the archery bows. The bows used at the beginning of the century, and even in the sixties and the seventies, are totally unlike the hi-tech implement used by Jay Barrs of the USA to become Olympic Champion at Seoul in 1988.
Come to the Olympic Museum for exhibitions, lectures, concerts, etc.
