All the information you need to prepare your visit to the Olympic Museum Lausanne
The Olympic Museum has been designed to make the entire building accessible to people with disabilities and people in wheelchairs, whether accompanied or alone.
If a group of visitors with special needs plans to visit the Museum, please contact us by phone and we will be able to make specific arrangements.
It is easy to visit the Olympic Museum and we hope the following information will encourage you to come and see it.
Parking spaces reserved for disabled people can be found at the bottom of the Olympic Park, on the Quai d'Ouchy. From there, people in wheelchairs can take the path that leads to the entrance of the building.
Under special circumstances, visitors may be permitted to drive down from the Avenue de l'Elysée and enter the building on level 2. Tour mini-buses may also have access to this entrance.
The restaurant is located on the top floor of the building, on level 2, and can be accessed by elevator from level 0. The winding ramp in the middle of the Museum which goes up to level 1 can be used as well, and from there, the elevator is also available. Large groups wishing to eat together can use the Olympic Winter Games room, which can accommodate up to 15 people in wheelchairs.
Toilets can be found on levels 0 and 2 of the building. Anyone who needs assistance can press the blue alarm button; it will ring at the reception desk and help will be sent immediately.
Come to the Olympic Museum for exhibitions, lectures, concerts, etc.
You will find practical information about the Museum and its facilities in a PDF document.
