Memorabilia and the Olympic Movement
Olympic Games memorabilia is a vast domain, which comprises collectible items such as torches, medals, pins, posters, mascots, scarves, toothpicks, cufflinks and much more. Perhaps one of the most visible manifestations of collecting Olympic memorabilia can be seen at the Olympic Games when ? Pindemonium? Breaks loose. Volunteers, drivers, athletes and the public all have one passion: to obtain and exchange as many attractive pins as possible. To show them off they stick them to accreditation cards, bags and clothes.
