The TV Rights and New Media Commission is responsible for preparing and implementing the overall IOC strategy for future broadcast rights negotiations.
The Commission collects marketing intelligence and consults with experts around the globe, determines the rights and benefits packages to be sold and implements the tender and negotiation process. The Commission also deals with issues pertaining to the current broadcast rights agreements.

The Commission is chaired by IOC President Jacques Rogge and is composed of the Chairmen of the IOC Commissions concerned, including the Finance, Juridical, Marketing and Radio and Television Commissions, as well as other key personalities.
