AN OLYMPIC CAREER
Janica Kostelic is a young skier with a bright future, but who already has collected many titles to her name. An Olympic scholarship at the age of 13 allowed her career to take off. At the Nagano Games, she finished eighth in the slalom. Last season, she was World Cup winner in Alpine Ski (slalom and downhill - FIS general rankings). At the Games in Salt Lake her aim is simple: to win the gold.
