Without volunteers the Games would not be possible.
Volunteers are everywhere at the Games helping athletes as well as visitors. They look after security, logistics, and many other aspects. This year in Salt Lake City there are more than 30,000. Part of the success of the Games belongs to them.

Olympic Family Assistant - Steve is an attorney, and a member of Salt Lake City council. During the Games, he has quite a different occupation: he is the assistant of the IOC member of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Human Resources - Sue is a teacher and has volunteered many times for various causes. For the Games, she is a volunteer who assists other volunteers, from the initial interviewing process to the uniform distribution.

Ceremonies Team - Karyn works on the Ceremonies team, and helps with administrative tasks relating to the organisation of the show. For her, the Games started months ago with the production of the Opening Ceremony.
