Innsbruck 2012 hopeful Nina Prock showed off her potential last weekend at the FIL World Cup opening in Innsbruck, host city of the Youth Olympic Games.
Nina was the forerunner at the event, and showed her support for the Games by competing in the Nations Cup wearing an Innsbruck 2012 bib.
She is busy training hard in her efforts to participate in the first winter edition of the Youth Olympic Games, which will take place between 13 and 22 January 2012.
Nina competed on the luge track in Innsbruck-Igls, which will host the Innsbruck 2012 luge and bobsleigh competitions. It is no surprise she got into luging, as her father is the legendary Markus Prock, who participated in six Olympic Winter Games (Sarajevo 1984, Calgary 1988, Albertville 1992, Lillehammer 1994, Nagano 1988 and finally Salt Lake City in 2002), winning two silver and one bronze Olympic medals!
During this winter season, the Innsbruck 2012 Organising Committee and the IOC can be spotted at certain international sports events, spreading the word about the first edition of the winter Youth Olympic Games in 2012.
