Sport Up Your Life!

Sport Up Your Life!

06/08/2014

So you are not the fastest, strongest or highest but you still eat, sleep and breathe sport! How can you get involved in the world of sport? Well, making sport your life is not only the reserve of athletes and, if you are an athlete, careers in sport do not have to be restricted to competing on the field of play.

Sport offers a whole rainbow of opportunities – both professional and voluntary – and a new app developed by the International Olympic Committee will help you discover just what options are out there for sports lovers.

Created as a talent-based personality quiz, ‘Sport Up Your Life’ will sort through your personal responses, and suggest a vocation best suited to your own skills, interests and talents.

The game will be part of the “learn and share” experience at the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games and will be available in five languages with a mobile-friendly version also available.

So, what are you waiting for? Where will your skills, interests and talents take you? A coach, a nutritionist, a sports journalist? Whether you are an athlete or a sports fan, still in school or looking for a career change, there are plenty of routes to keep you engaged in sport. Check it out for yourself. Your future starts here: sportupyourlife.olympic.org
