The Code of Ethics has been updated as set out in the Olympic Charter.

2012 edition of the IOC Code of Ethics

The Code of Ethics has been updated as set out in the Olympic Charter.

Since the first edition of the Code of Ethics was published in 1999, several modifications have been adopted in order to respond to the evolutions in the world of sport, in particular the issues of betting on Olympic Games competitions and the universal principles of good governance.

This latest edition groups together the Code of Ethics itself with the various implementing provisions, for example concerning conflicts of interest, the rules of conduct for cities wishing to organise the Olympic Games or the Basic Principles of Good Governance.
