2015 edition of the IOC “Ethics” texts collection

The 2015 edition of the IOC Code of Ethics will be available after the IOC Session in Kuala Lumpur.

At its meeting on 7 and 8 June 2015 in Lausanne, the Executive Board approved the latest update of the Code of Ethics, the Statutes of the Ethics Commission and the Rules of Procedure, in line with the Olympic Agenda 2020 recommendations.

Following the launch of the “invitation phase” of the Olympic Games’ Bid Process and the new Register of Consultants, the Rules of Conduct for the Olympic Games 2024 Bid Process were approved by the IOC Executive Board during its meeting held in Rio on 26-28 February 2015.

The 2015 edition of the Ethics texts collection includes the IOC Code of Ethics and all the Implementing Provisions, in particular the Rules on Conflicts of Interests, the Rules concerning betting on Olympic Games competitions and the Basic Principles of Good Governance. The Code of Ethics is an integral part of the Olympic Charter.

In December 2015, the Rules on sports betting and competition-fixing applicable during the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro will be approved and published.
