Fiji team physician (1984-1992) at the Olympic (Summer & Winter) Games, at the Commonwealth Games and at the South Pacific Games; member of ONOC Medical Commission (1985-1993); former member of the IAAF Medical Commission; former member of the FIH Medical Commission; Chairman of the South Pacific Games Organising Committee (1997-2003) and of the 18th Hobie 16 World Championships (2006-2007); NOC President (1997-2005); Vice-President, Oceania National Olympic Committees (1989-1993) then Secretary General (1993-2009) then President (2009-); member of ANOC Executive Council (1989-); member of the Foundation Board of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) (2001-)
