The Youth Olympic Games enter history in Ancient Olympia

Today, the first Flame of the Youth Olympic Games was lit in Olympia in the presence of IOC President Jacques Rogge and Ambassador for the Games Yelena Isinbayeva, amongst many other eminent representatives of the Olympic Movement.
 
This event marks the beginning of the Journey of the Youth Olympic Flame, which will visit five cities across all five continents, before arriving in Singapore to start its national Torch Relay in the build-up to the Opening Ceremony.
