Three Young Reporters will go to London
9/7/2010

Three enterprising young journalists who participated in the first edition of the International Olympic Committee’s Young Reporters Programme at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games have been chosen to put their creative talents to work at the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London.

Alan Harris, May Chen and Sonali Prasad covered the inaugural Youth Olympic Games from 14 to 26 August, providing content for the world’s media while receiving first-hand instruction from some of the best sports journalists in the business.

Harris, a 23 year old from Barbados, and Chen, a 23 year old from Singapore, were selected from a group of 28 Young Reporters to report on the London Games for the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games over a six-week period. Sonali, a 19 year old from India, will take up a six-week internship with the Press Association.
