This red-and-white outfit also features the Croatian coat of arms, a sign that this great champion can be none other than Janica Kostelić. She is the female Alpine skier who has won the most Olympic medals: six in all. Starting from a modest background (she travelled by car with her parents between the various competition venues on the European junior skiing circuit and slept in a tent), she owes her magnificent list of achievements to hard work and perseverance. As well as her Olympic medals, she achieved 30 World Cup victories, winning the World Cup series Crystal Globe three times (in 2001, 2003 and 2006).
