Press Accreditation for the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games

The written and photographic press, non-rights holding broadcasters, support staff, technicians and internet and social media reporters, IOC Young Reporters, as well as International Federation and National Olympic Committee press attaches, are accredited to the Youth Olympic Games under the generic category “E” (Media).

The accreditation period for all international media will be available online from 18 March 2014 to 30 April 2014.

The Chinese Olympic Committee will manage and approve the accreditation process for all Chinese domestic media. The application period will be the same as for international media; Mid-February 2014 to 30 April 2014.  


IMPORTANT KEY DATES

Mid-March 2014 – 30 April 2014

Media accreditation process starts for all international media.  Applications should be completed online at www.olympic.org/pressrelease. The Chinese Olympic Committee will manage and approve the accreditation process for all Chinese domestic media (detailed information regarding this process will be available shortly)

18 March – April 2014

IOC will review applications and will inform all applicants of its accreditation decision.

30 April 2014

Deadline for Media Accreditation applications

June 2014

The Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (NYOGOC) sends the Youth Olympic Identity and Accreditation Pre-Valid Card (YOIAC) as well as other instructions and information directly to all successfully accredited Media

The Youth Olympic Identity and Accreditation Pre-Valid Card acts as a visa into China
